What will you do after university?

Everybody dreams about the future. There are many things waiting for us in the future, and sometimes I can't wait to go outside of the university to get on with others. I want to be an English teacher after I graduate from the university. The reason why I want to be a teacher is that one of my teachers impressed me most when I was 14. She is my favorite teacher. She taught me English when I was in Grade 5. She is a pretty and slim lady. One of the most important reasons that I like her is that she is very sincere. When she talks to others, she always has a smile on her face. I think she is a very good teacher because she has a lot of good methods on teaching. She is not only quite friendly, but also humorous. Her class is full of fun that you have never felt bored. To improve our grades, she usually gives us some advices about how to learn English well. What's more, she sacrificed her own time to help every student, no thought of gain. Sometimes, she nearly has no time to have lunch. When I asked her questions, she must spare no effort to make me understand, with her patience and carefulness. I have never seen such a good teacher as her before. A good teacher can point out the direction and give you endless strength when you get into trouble. I'm lucky enough to have such a good teacher in my life. She has a great influence on me. I'm thankful her help very much.

You have the opportunity to visit a foreign country for two weeks. Which country would you like?

If I could visit any foreign country, I’d like to visit Ireland. The scenery there is so beautiful. Ireland has a lot of rain and that makes everything very green and lush. It hasn’t become a completely industrialized country yet, so there are still areas where the countryside is unspoiled by pollution. Often, you can drive for miles without seeing another car or coming to a big city. I’d like to take my set of paints and several canvases and try to capture some of the scenes there. It seems every way you turn, you’re looking at beautiful scenery. The area near the ocean is especially dramatic, with giant dark cliffs rising out of the water.

I also think I’d enjoy the slower pace of Ireland. It’s so different from the busy pace of my country. Of course, Ireland’s big cities are just as hectic as any big city anywhere. But many of the Irish live in smaller towns or on farms in rural areas. Visiting these places is very restful. People don’t feel the need to stick to a schedule . Things get done, but in a much more relaxed fashion. In my country, there’s the feeling that you’re always late for something. In Ireland, it feels like you’ve never late because no one stays on schedule.

Ireland would be a refreshing break from the life I lead in my own country. I wish I could go there.

Describe your ideal partner

He should be a person who is more intelligent, careful and patient than me. He also should be a mature man who can protect me and make me have a sense of security. I don't care about how much money he owns, but he must be a good and kind person

who must love me and my family. He should have a sense of humor to let me have fun. He must understand me, I do not like the man who is stingy and is moody. I don't mind whether he is handsome or not , but he should be a man who is responsible for me . He can't consider the love as a game. He should be a man who must have a sense of responsibility and be strong , whatever he meets , he can't escape. He also should have his own judgement and he can give me some suggestions or make decision for me, because I can't make a decision easily. Be a gentleman is necessary, what can make me feel honor. That's also one kinds of man which I prefer. We must respect, support, bless and protect for each other.

The differences between men and women

Firstly, the difference in dressing is the most intuitional one we could see. Women like to dress the clothes which could show their figure, such as short skirt, but the men don’t. A women will dress up to go shopping, water the plants, empty the rubbish, answer the phone, read the book, get the post and especially take a party, but the men just dress up for weddings and funerals. Generally speaking, females are sensitive to the beautiful things and they cost plenty of time to dress up with pleasure. But usually the males are more lazy, they always prone to the clothes which are more expensive than the women’s and the women’s clothes are more various than the men’s.

Secondly, the difference in how to solve others’ problems is an important one we should notice. It could easily affect the relationship between them. Usually women are more sensitive, brittle and capricious, but men are stronger, more careless. When the accident happened, women usually got away as quickly as they could. They never incurred the problem which didn’t concern them. But the men would like to intervene which he though he should take hand in, that was a kind of responsibility, especially when he thought the affair was unfair.

Thirdly, the difference in thinking is also very important. In general, men and women consider and process information differently. Women tend to be intuitive global thinkers. They consider multiple sources of information within a process that can be described as simultaneous, global in perspective and will view elements in the task in terms of their interconnectedness. Women come to understand and consider problems all at once. They take a broad or \"collective\" perspective, and they view elements in a task as interconnected and interdependent. Women are prone to become overwhelmed with complexities that \"exist\or may exist, and may have difficulty separating their personal experience from problems. Men tend to focus on one problem at a time or a limited number of problems at a time. They have an enhanced ability to separate themselves from problems and minimize the complexity that may exist. Men come to understand and consider problems one piece at a time. They take a linear or sequential perspective, and view elements in a task as less interconnected and more independent. Men are prone to minimize and fail to appreciate subtleties that can be crucial to successful solutions. A male may work through a problem repeatedly, talking about the same thing over and over, rather than trying to address the problem all at once.
