摘要： A method for delaying the flowering of some plants that regulate floweringproducing a flowering inhibitor regulator with a seasonal pattern. According to theabove-described method, an amount of inhibiting flowering regulator administered tothe plant during the period in the growth cycle of the plant where the regulator is nolonger produced by the plant. As a result, the duration of the inhibitory effect on theplant is extended. The controller consists of $ dioate (bis) (2-ethylhexyl) -hexane (BEHD).Also disclosed are a family of diesters of dicarboxylic acids possessing inhibitory activityof flowering, other processes for treating plants with these compounds, and a newmethod for identifying flowering regulators.
