摘要：The invention relates to a split axial magnetic bearing for the mounting of arotor (1) of a thermal turbomachine. The axial magnetic bearing (10) according to theinvention comprises: a bearing rotor (12) which includes magnetic material and which isarranged on and connected to the circumference of the rotor (1), two bearing stators(14, 16) which surround the circumference of the rotor (1) and which are arranged to bothsides of the bearing rotor (12) as viewed in the axial direction, and respective magneticfield generating means for the controllable generation of a magnetic field (M) which isconducted through the bearing rotor (12); wherein at least one of the bearing stators(14, 16) is formed, so as to be split along a parting plane (T) which extends through therotor (1), from two bearing stator halves (14-1, 14-2, 16-1, 16-2), and wherein themagnetic material of the bearing rotor (12) is arranged in such a way as to reduce eddycurrents, and/or at least one of the bearing stators (14, 16) comprises magnetic materialwhich is arranged in such a way as to reduce eddy currents.
