摘要：The present invention relates to a dual lock apparatus () of the type including alocking bolt () moveable between a first locked position and a second unlocked positionsaid bolt movement corresponding with longitudinal movement of a slider () saidapparatus including a first and a second locking means adapted to operate

independently of one another. The first locking means () includes a rotatable cam () suchthat when rotated said cam acts against a moveable piston to thereby move said pistonfrom a first position to a second position in which the second locking means becomesdisengaged from said slider and further rotation of the cam urges longitudinal

movement of the slider. The second locking means includes an electric motor in gearedconnection to a member () moveable between a first position and second positioncorresponding with the locked and unlocked positions of the bolt said member includingan outwardly biased pin () adapted to engage the piston cylinder () and urge said pistoninto said piston first position to thereby mechanically connect the second locking meanswith the slider. The locking means can therefore operate independently of one another.
