摘要：A data transmission method, a network device, and a terminal device aredisclosed. The network device determines activation instruction information, where the

activation instruction information is used to instruct to enable or disable a transmissioncontrol protocol (TCP) quick acknowledgement function. The network device sends theactivation instruction information, and if the activation instruction information instructs toenable the TCP quick acknowledgement function, maintains a mapping relationshipbetween a TCP sequence number and a radio link control layer protocol data unit (RLCPDU) sequence number. The terminal device receives the activation instruction

information, and enables or disables the TCP quick acknowledgement function accordingto the activation instruction information, thereby optimizing a data transmission methodusing a TCP quick acknowledgement scheme.
