摘要：A wall plate bracket includes integral straight edges used to quickly, easily andprecisely define an area on a wall where a wall opening for the bracket is to be cut. Theintegral straight edges are formed along a top or bottom edge and a side edge of a

generally rectangular front face plate of the bracket. The front face plate is held againsta wall, and an L-shaped line is drawn along the straight edges. The bracket is thenrotated 180 degrees and the ends of the straight edges are aligned at the ends of thepreviously drawn line. Another L-shaped line is then made or drawn along the straightedges, resulting in the two drawn L-shaped lines together forming a proper rectangledefining the wall opening to be cut.
