摘要：The present invention includes a system and method for communicating acrossan electronic communication network. The present invention permits a user of theelectronic communication network to communicate with one or more other users of the
electronic communication network. The software employed in such a system and methodpermits a user to select one or more individuals to whom communication is desiredand/or one or more terminals to which communication is desired, enter a message, andsend the message. The recipient or recipients of the message are defined on the networkand are selectable at the sender's terminal through a graphical user interface (GUI).
