摘要：A heat sealable packaging film particularly suitable for producing a peelableseal by heat sealing on polystyrene.

< P>For this purpose, the composition of the film comprises:

< P>(a) 50 to 70% by weight of at least one ethylene polymer having a melt index of0.5 to 7 g/10 min and selected from polyethylene having a density of from 0.910 to 0. 925g/cm.sup.3 and an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer containing at most 7% by weight ofvinyl acetate.

< P>(b) 20 to 30% by weight of at least one ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymercontaining 20 to 30% by weight of vinyl acetate and having a melt index of 0.5 to 7 g/10min, and

< P>(c) 10 to 20% by weight of a styrene homopolymer having a melt index of 0.5 to 7g/10 min.

< P>Also provided are packages including a container made from polystyrene and acovering film for the said container, which is made from the aforesaid film, laminated or

not on other films.
